We set the sights quite high, at 4,750 euros, and despite the nail-biting finish we reached our goal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.birdinginspain.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/verkamiachieved.jpg\" alt=\"Raptors! Rapinyaires! Rapaces! Verkami crowdfunding initiative\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Our special thanks to <strong>Roy Mangersnes <\/strong>who allowed us to use his great <strong>Little Owl<\/strong> photo free of charge as the cover photo of the campaign. And thanks to all those who contributed from 10 euros to more than 600 euros.
