Fortunate are those who\u00a0have seen this handsome bird, or heard its far-carrying, bubbling song. More fortunate still is\u00a0<strong>Erlend Haarberg<\/strong>: his\u00a0mission for the <strong>Wild Wonders of Europe<\/strong> was to photograph <strong>Black Grouse on a\u00a0lek in Sweden<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.birdinginspain.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/erlend_haarberg.jpg\" alt=\"Erlend Haarberg, wildlife photographer\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Of course he succeeded, and admirably.
