Cut! Before we continue with this script from &#8220;Brave New World&#8221; or whatever, there are some hard realities to take into account when you&#8217;re hands-on with a drinking pool. For example:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stabilize the banks<\/strong> &#8211; you&#8217;ve dug out all that earth, on a slope, and you&#8217;ve just realized that at the first drop of rain it will become a mudslide collapsing into your beautifully crafted pond.<\/li>\n<li>Plant plants around the edge, and <strong>try to keep them alive<\/strong> despite drought, frost, herbivores, trampling, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deal with a leak<\/strong> without giving up.
